Let's write a song!
Check out this short article on “How Are Instruments Made” and if you’re interested in viewing the process, you can see videos on how drums, trumpets, and more are created.
Have you ever been interested in creating your own song? If so, grab a journal and start brainstorming on a topic. What are you interested in sharing through your lyrics? Then find a melody, this can be something simple from “twinkle twinkle little star” to a current pop song you may like. It might be easiest to start with a chorus. This is the part that will be repeated throughout the song, which tends to be the catchiest section. Add a few verses, where you can start to expand on the story you want to tell. Overall, don’t forget who your audience is. This might just be for you, so you can write down different ideas in a journal, or an activity to do with your siblings, and you all can brainstorm together. Have fun!!
