All runners will receive a unique wood medal, short sleeve technical shirt (first 400 runners) and access to the post-race party at Amelia Park, where results will also be posted. The post-race party will include several types of salads, egg sandwiches (due to early start), hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and music! The Westfield Half started in 1994 when a group of runners from the Empire One Running Club approached the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield with the idea of a half marathon fundraiser. Since then, we have seen the Westfield Half grow from 142 to well over 600 runners. Since that first race 28 years ago, this event has raised ~$275,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield.
All children who run in the Fun Run will receive two free tickets for admission into the Westfield Children's Museum!
