Diplomas 2 Degrees: A post-secondary education readiness initiative designed to prepare members for post-secondary education (trade school, community college, or a four year college or university) and career success. The program includes: supporting young people with a step-by-step progression to become college ready; providing experiences such as college tours that familiarize teens with post-secondary opportunities; assisting teens in pursuing and securing financial aid; fostering supportive relationships between teens and adults who can provide ongoing support through the young person's college or post-high school experience.
Money Matters: Promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members ages 13-18 by building their basic money management skills. Participants learn how to manage a checking account, budget, save, and invest. They also learn about starting small businesses and paying for college.
Career Launch: A fun and exciting program that prepares teens for the working world. Club teens 13-18 years old embark on a journey to explore careers, make sound educational decisions and find success in the world of work. Staff members work with teens in small groups to build their job-search skills and job readiness. Teens gain valuable experience job searching, filling out resumes and going on mock interviews.
Keystone Elite Club: A chartered leadership and service club for teens ages 14-18 years old. Keystone members elect officers, choose their own activities and plan and implement community service projects.
Junior Staff: Through participation in Junior Staff, teens will develop interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and a sense of community engagement while experiencing on-the-job Club work.
Youth of the Year: A program designed to recognize service to the Club and community, academic performance and contributions to family and spiritual life. The Club selects a local Youth of the Year who competes to become the Massachusetts State Youth of the Year. The winner then participates in the Regional and National Youth of the Year competitions, where they have the opportunity to win scholarships and meet high-ranking public officials, including the President of the United States. SMART Girls: A small-group health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement program designed to meet the developmental needs of girls ages 13-18. Girls participate in hands-on activities and go on field trips while building skills for eating right, staying active, and taking care of their physical and mental health while fostering positive relationships with peers and adults.
Passport to Manhood: This program promotes and teaches responsibility in boys ages 13-18. The program concentrates on specific aspects of "manhood" through engaging activities. Each participant receives their own "passport" to underscore the notion that they are on their own personal journey of growth and maturity.
Date SMART: Intended for teens 13-18 years old, the program helps young people examine their feelings about dating and relationships and helps them build the skills they need to achieve healthy relationships, free of violence and abuse. Through participation in Date SMART, Club members increase their ability to help friends and family members who may be experiencing dating, sexual, or domestic violence.
